Wine entries for the 70th edition of the Bordeaux Competition are now open.
Open to all wines from Nouvelle-Aquitaine
On the occasion of this historic edition, the Bordeaux Competition reaches a major milestone and officially becomes the Bordeaux Competition – Wines of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, opening its doors to all wines from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
The Competition is now open to all wines produced and entirely made within the twelve departments of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region: Charente, Charente-Maritime, Corrèze, Creuse, Dordogne, Gironde, Landes, Lot-et-Garonne, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Haute-Vienne, Vienne, and Deux-Sèvres.
This includes Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) wines and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) wines that meet these criteria.
This expansion marks a major transformation of the Competition and reflects the diversity, richness, and vitality of France’s leading wine-producing region.
